Meet the LSP Team

As part of a regular feature, we're delighted to introduce you to the people behind LSP. Our team is at the heart of everything we do, and these profiles offer a chance to get to know them a little better.

From their professional backgrounds to their interests and hobbies outside of work, you'll discover a little more about the people behind the scenes.

Meet Charlotte, our Support Coach Team Leader!

Can you tell us about your role at LSP and what you enjoy most about it?

I am the Support Coach Team Leader for the construction side of the company. I love that I get to manage and help a lovely team of ladies. I am proud of myself for being given the trust and responsibility of this role after less than 2 years in the business. Also, creating relationships with my learners and supporting them throughout their apprenticeship is really satisfying. Especially watching their confidence grow from the beginning to the end.

What’s your favourite holiday destination?

I was so lucky to be able to travel South America for two months in December and January. I sadly can’t pick just one, but my favourites were Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Mexico City – all very different but dream destinations!!

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?

Outside of work I am always at a music event of some sort. I love festivals and travelling round the world with my friends and a couple are DJs so I get the perks of following them around and listening to amazing music!

Do you have any pets?

I have a gorgeous little ginger cat named Freddie, who is 10, and my boyfriend’s family have just got a new white Schnauzer puppy called Teddy who I have claimed as my own! 😊

How do you like to spend your free time?

Similar to above, I am either with my friends or my boyfriend at music events, or eating good food.

What is your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement would be achieving my two degrees. I have a first-class Business management with Marketing degree and a Marketing Masters! I also got 87% in my dissertation, something I have never shut up about!! So, if anyone wants to read a paper based on the negative impact of the fast fashion industry, let me know and I will send it to you 😅

What’s your favourite book or film?

I am not really a film girl, however, LOVE a crime series, such as Top Boy, Line of Duty (watched about 3 times) and any of the Harlan Coben series on Netflix. Also any of the crazy American documentary’s always blow my mind – the false prophet was mad.

What advice would you give to your 16-year-old self?

Never worry about someone’s opinion if you wouldn’t switch lives with them!!
