Line Manager of the Month - September

To recognise the continuous encouragement provided by line managers, our learners and tutors are nominating those who are offering outstanding support to be in for a chance of being awarded as the Line Manager of the Month.


Congratulations to our September Line Manager of the Month, Manuel Tolosa!

Manuel was nominated by LSP Support Coach, Danielle, due to his continuous support towards learner Harry, who is currently completing his Level 3 Digital Engineering Apprenticeship with Benx.

Danielle said:

“Manuel understands that Harry is keen to progress and can see the potentials in him. Recently, Manuel has intrusted Harry to research and come up with a plan to replace and old system that they use to something much better. This has been explained in detail to Harry and is another project for him to get involved in to keep his interest.”

“Manuel really cares about the progress Harry is making. He is keen to learn about Harry’s behaviours in college and the work he is producing, from that, and how his employment is going, he continuously plans ahead for the next things for Harry to get involved in to help with his knowledge and understanding.”

“It’s so nice to speak to Manuel and Harry, it’s a pleasure to speak to a Line Manager who is so excited and passionate about the learning that is happening, who continuously plans ahead to support Harry, and who celebrates the achievements. Manuel is determined to successfully get Harry through his apprenticeship and into further education, which is something so rare and lovely to witness.”

“Manuel is encouraging and promoting with Harry. He understands Harry’s desire to continue onto master’s degree level education and supports that, he continuously supports Harry and is really keen to keep pushing him further with his knowledge. Manuel has also, unbeknown to him, taught me quite a lot about different software which has really helped me with my role.”

“Manuel attends every review with Harry and celebrates Harry’s achievements. When I last spoke to Harry, Manuel was prompting him all the way through about all the extra things he has been doing in employment such as a week-long training course on Solid Works and the time in the warehouse to help Harry’s knowledge on rendering.”
