June Line Manager of the Month: Hayley Dickinson
Congratulations to Hayley Dickinson from Bedspace, our latest Line Manager of the Month, following an amazing nomination from learner Simone.
Our Line Manager of the Month award shines a spotlight on managers who make a meaningful difference to the apprenticeship experience through their encouragement, guidance and commitment to helping others succeed. Hayley has demonstrated all of these qualities, earning recognition for the positive impact she has had on Simone's personal and professional development.
When explaining her nomination, Simone described the confidence Hayley has always shown in her abilities, even before she stepped into her current role.
“I am nominating Hayley because she consistently goes above and beyond to support me. She encouraged me to apply for my current position and genuinely believed in my potential, telling me she knew I would be perfect for the role.”
That early encouragement gave Simone the confidence to pursue a new opportunity, knowing she had someone who believed in her every step of the way.
Simone also spoke about Hayley's approachable nature and the reassurance she provides, no matter how busy her day may be.
“Whenever I need guidance, reassurance, or simply someone to listen, she is always there. She answers the phone no matter how busy she is, whether it’s for advice, a quick chat, or to help me work through a frustrating situation.”
Whether offering practical advice or simply taking the time to listen, Hayley's support has helped Simone overcome challenges and approach situations with greater confidence.
Reflecting on the difference Hayley has made, Simone explained that having such a supportive manager has been invaluable.
