Why did you choose the Apprenticeship route?

I chose an apprenticeship as I wanted to expand my knowledge in customer service. My previous employment was a combination of this and sales. I felt an apprenticeship was a good place to start in terms of employment. You can get a true understanding of what everything is and you have support around you that helps you achieve your goals. I was keen to continue my education, and this type of apprenticeship gave me the balance that I needed. Iā€™m able to gain real life working skills whilst working towards a recognised qualification.

What are the benefits of your Apprenticeship?

The benefits of an apprenticeship in my opinion are they are an amazing way to learn new things. Whether it be systems or how to do a certain action such as vehicle maintenance. Other benefits are gaining real work experience, being rewarded financially and it is a way to meet new people.

Why would you recommend Apprenticeships to others?

I would recommend an apprenticeship to others because they are in my opinion the best way to start a career. I have met several previous apprentices in the company since I started, it has shown me that there is no limit to how high you can go in the company. They are a good way to understand how a business works and the routes to take to progress.

Why do you think employers should offer Apprenticeships?

I think they should offer apprenticeships because it gives young people the option to come out of a complete education setting and get on the job ladder. This also gives young people the chance to understand what a full time job is and gives them real life experience later down the line if they want to progress higher in their place of work.
