Joseph Edwards Wins CECA Yorkshire and Humberside Most Promising Apprentice Award
Congratulations to Joseph Edwards, a Trainee Site Engineer for Buckingham Group, who was named the CECA Yorkshire and Humberside Most Promising Apprentice Award winner for 2017-18.
Joseph received the award at a ceremony held on 20th April 2018 at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, where he represented Buckingham Group and was selected as the winner from three shortlisted apprentices.
Recognising Joseph's Development
The award recognised Joseph's progress, commitment and enthusiasm for the construction and civil engineering industry.
At the time of receiving the award, Joseph was working towards his Level 3 NVQ in Construction and Civil Engineering while continuing to develop his confidence and ability within his role.
Promoting Construction and Civil Engineering
Alongside his professional development, Joseph had also created materials designed to help promote construction and civil engineering to young people.
His enthusiasm for the industry and willingness to promote career opportunities within the sector contributed to him becoming a strong ambassador for construction and civil engineering.
