Construction & Built Environment Apprenticeship Tutor

Help develop the construction professionals of the future

Learning Skills Partnership (LSP) is growing our Construction Training Team and we're looking for an experienced construction professional and qualified teacher who shares our passion for developing people at the start of their careers.

Our apprentices are already working in the construction and built environment sector while studying towards professional apprenticeships and qualifications. They are gaining experience, developing their technical knowledge and building careers in areas including Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Design & Build, Site Supervision and Digital Engineering.

As their Tutor, you'll do far more than deliver a qualification. You'll use your own industry experience to bring learning to life – helping apprentices connect theory with what they see and do in the workplace, building their confidence and developing the professional knowledge and competence they need for successful careers.

We're particularly interested in hearing from experienced Quantity Surveyors, as well as professionals from Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Design & Build and the wider Built Environment.

  • Experience teaching within Further Education, apprenticeships or work-based learning

  • Confidence delivering engaging teaching remotely using Microsoft Teams or similar

  • Strong communication, organisation and learner-support skills

As this is a home-based role, you'll need a suitable dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection.
