Line Manager of the Month - April

Congratulations to our April Line Manager of the Month, Lee Grantham.

Lee was nominated by his learner Ben, who is currently completing his Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship with Motus Commercials.

Ben said:

“Lee always gives me clear direction, which allows me to do my job efficiently. He is quick to adapt and decision making seems to come easy to him, which helps me through my day and career by having the constant support there.”

“Lee is ethical in all he does, with 10 years of service, going from technician to Shift Supervisor, Workshop Controller, VW Service Manager, DAF Service Manager and now Head of Service, you can’t take that path of progression by compromising and doing the wrong thing. As a result of this experience, he is an inspiring role model.”

“Lee always makes time for me, even when he is busy. For example, last week, Lee had a busy week filled with appointments all over the Northwest region. I was in a particular challenging position, struggling with my Level 3 program, but he created time to see me and came up with an action plan. This supported me with managing my workload and time. It meant the world to me that he supported me in this time of need. This is just one of hundreds of examples of how Lee has cared for and supported me in my role!”

“Lee is inspirational, always pushing the most out of us in a positive way, and always wanting me to grow personally. An example of lee pushing me to grow is, a job became available at a bigger and better dealership. I wanted to apply for the role, so I asked Lee for his thoughts. He encouraged me to go for it! He did not want to hold me back in my career.”
