Apprentice of the Month - March

We’re delighted to celebrate Chloe Harrison as our March Apprentice of the Month! Since starting her Trade Supplier apprenticeship with EDA Apprenticeships Plus (Edmundson Electrical) in August 2024, Chloe has made an incredible impression with her enthusiasm, work ethic, and ever-growing confidence in the industry.

Chloe brings a warm and welcoming personality to everything she does - a trait that shines through in her interactions with both customers and suppliers. Over the past few months, she’s taken on a wide range of responsibilities with professionalism and energy, including handling phone and email enquiries, assisting at the trade counter, making deliveries to sites, booking goods into the warehouse, and building lasting customer relationships.

She recently completed a standout presentation for her Trade Supplier portfolio, offering a detailed overview of the history, values, and market position. Chloe explained how the company’s innovative use of WhatsApp for business is playing a key role in driving its success. Alongside this, she also demonstrated her strong grasp of relevant legislation, including health and safety, COSHH, and PUWER regulations - a testament to her growing knowledge and professionalism.

Tutor Damien shared high praise for Chloe, saying:

“Chloe has shown exceptional effort in both her coursework and her job role. She’s confident, capable, and constantly looking to grow. Her progress has been brilliant, and she truly deserves to be recognised.”

Chloe has also taken part in supplier breakfast meetings to help bring new customers through the door - a great example of her proactive mindset and her drive to contribute to the business beyond her day-to-day tasks.

Her manager, Mark Ashton, echoed this praise in a heartfelt statement:

“Chloe takes on challenges, embraces change positively, is extremely conscious of customer service, and brings such positivity to the team in an infectious way that we all love – she has become dependable so on many levels.”

He went on to say:

“Edmundson Electrical is a fast pace and rewarding employer. A company that employs enthusiastic, positive thinking individuals. Although we provide an incredible amount of support for our team, it is also the teams responsibility to be pro-active individually, and as a combined force. Only the brave can take on this challenge with the best chance of gaining success. After a few changes required within the business to move forward, it is people like Chloe and our existing team that have made it work. Being an effective cog in this machine, requires a high level of “a can do” mind set. Being able to feel and understand the working environment, the demands of our valued customers, our essential suppliers, and satisfying these elements and all of the above, are not skills that come naturally to everyone.”

With strong support from her team and a clear desire to keep developing her skills, Chloe’s future in the industry looks bright. She’s already making a big impact and we’re excited to see where her journey takes her next.

Congratulations, Chloe – your positivity, professionalism, and commitment make you a truly deserving Apprentice of the Month!
