Well done to George Cookson who has been awarded as our Apprentice of the Month in July! George is currently completing his Level 2 Trade Supplier Apprenticeship with Edmundson Electrical in Morecambe and was nominated by his tutor, Damien.

George’s Tutor, Damien said:

“George has got off to a great start to his apprenticeship since starting on 01/05/21. He has made good progress on the first knowledge module on the organisation. He recently completed a course on the basics of electricity which has really helped his knowledge.”

“George’s manager Mike made a comment to me that George has been one of the best apprentices he has ever had, which is a great thing to hear.”

“George has taken great care with his work so far and has shown commitment in logging all of his learning on the 20% OTJ tracker, with a good amount of detail.”

“George aspires to work towards a management role in Edmundson and from what I have seen so far has the potential to achieve this.”

“George is a pleasure to meet with and is eager to do well. He is friendly and polite, and I have enjoyed working with him so far. I’m looking forward to him progressing through the course.”

Congratulations George for being awarded as LSP’s Apprentice of the Month. It is great to see your amazing progression in such a short space of time, including your commitment to 20% off the job and future goals to progress into a management role. Well done!
