Who is the Construction Quantity Surveying Apprenticeship for?
Quantity Surveying is concerned with controlling and managing the costs of construction projects. As a Quantity Surveying Technician, you could be involved with any stage of a project, from feasibility, design and construction, through to extension, refurbishment, maintenance and even demolition.

There is an End Point Assessment for this Apprenticeship - This is when the Apprentice will demonstrate they have learnt the required knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Qualifications to be awarded
Functional Skills (if required)
Level 4 qualification in Construction and Built Environment that meets the knowledge requirements of the standard and is approved by the industry’s recognised professional bodies meeting the educational requirements for Technician status or the equivalent level of membership.
Professional recognition
This Apprenticeship will include the knowledge, skills and behaviours typically required to achieve Technician status or the equivalent with the industry’s recognised professional bodies. The final assessment process for this Apprenticeship will typically be representative of the review process required for professional registration.

Progression Opportunities
Following the completion of your Level 4 programme, you will then progress onto the Level 6 Construction Quantity Surveyor degree or the Level 6 Construction Site Management degree, resulting in your degree certification, including professional accreditation.
How much does the Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Apprenticeship cost?
This programme costs £8,000 and is covered through a companies Apprenticeship Levy. If an employer does not pay into the levy they will only pay £400 if they have more than 50 employees or if the apprentice is aged 19+. Employers with less than 50 staff receive full funding if the apprentice is aged 16-18.
